Early intervention is identifying and providing effective early support to children and young people who are at risk of poor outcomes. Effective early intervention works to prevent problems occurring and to tackle them head-on when they do, before problems get worse.
The special education teacher works with children and adults with mental, developmental, learning, and multi- disciplinary disabilities. The special educator assesses the person’s skills ,determines their learning needs , designs an individual education plan(IEP), trains children and follows each student’ s progress.
The Sensory integration therapist provides sensory input (touch, taste, smell and sight) through play and observes the child’s reactions to evaluate his high or low sensitivity than provide treatment plan.
